Complicated Sleep

Weary now I close my eyes,
And yet a complicated sleep,
Dreams of a photo still I keep
In a secret place within my heart,
Faded now but not forgotten,
Of someone I hold dear to me,
Longing for her swift return.

Mist of Autumn

A cool gray mist of Autumn,
Like a haunted silky canvas,
Shrouds the horizon,
Hushing the wind,
And clinging to her soft naked form;
Her lips are wet;
Like sweet nectar, I drink her,
Quenching my thirst,
And sating my desire.

Dancing

Smiling, dancing,
Arms surrounding,
Feeling the music they play,
Vibrant and happy and gay.

Love flowing,
Desire growing,
Our bodies in unison sway,
Wanting to take you away.

Moonlight Dreams

Lulled by moonlight’s golden stream,
Pacified to sleep and dream,
Of Venus’ soft, seductive kiss,
And sensuous, inviting breasts.

Enigmatic Smile

She stares out of her window,
Deep in thought across the miles,
A gilt-framed Mona Lisa,
With her enigmatic smile.

Homeless

Starving figures, coats are tattered,
Homeless souls, not overfed,
Other people draped in laughter,
Silky blankets, sleep in beds.

City

Lifting arches, streetlit city,
Through I wander as before,
Eyes of wonder, scene fantastic,
Warming hearth and love restored.

Nimble Beauty

Nimble beauty held a trinket,
Just a bauble in her hand,
She was wishing in that moment,
Love and laughter 'til the end.

Knowing Love

Crystal air, glittering sea,
Cloudless heavens, gentle breeze,
Deep emotions beating free,
Feeling fresh unusually,
Knowing love finally.

Starry Night

Starry night, sky aglow,
Constellations, brilliant show,
Starshine radiant, bright and bold,
Moonlight magic, loving close.

Secret Rendezvous

A languid sky of cobalt blue,
A laugh, a secret rendezvous,
A soul's delicious interlude,
We whisper soft, say "I love you".

And in that lovely rendezvous,
That quiet velvet interlude,
Languid shadows are obscuring,
Breathless whispers murmuring,
Passionate desires burning,
Secret dream we’re now indulging,
Perfect love has come at last,
Hold on fast, forever fast.

Hearing the Word

Patiently waiting, timidly feeling,
Wracked with desire for Love,
Monotone voices spreading the message,
Faintly I'm hearing the Word.

Soul's Rendezvous

Lucid logic, thoughts of you,
Velvet dream of azure blue,
Languid laugh, an interlude,
Breathless love, soul's rendezvous.

Beauty of a Soul

T'was desire all engulfing,
The silhouette my heart had yearned,
Delicious rays of love transcended,
The beauty of a soul was learned.

Susquehanna

Muddy water Susquehanna,
Rising, bulging, overpowering,
Like the feelings and emotions,
Of a love I can't control.

Wasteland

Lifeless wasteland, wind and rock,
Desert tumbleweed, and hot,
Discarded lands, yet with conviction,
Planting, watering in tradition.

Masquerade

When I end the masquerade,
The mask impeding Love will fade,
Estrangement and remoteness end,
And I am one with You again.

Heaven's Love

Surrounded in a golden glow,
Heaven's Love descends below,
It watches over, soothes our fears,
Gives us laughs instead of tears.

Iridescent Sky

Like an iridescent sky,
Her tantalizing nature
Gracefully, exquisitely
Embroiders magenta colored poetry
Enriching transcendental lives.

Pictures of Italy

Pictures of Italy, Cobblestone streets,
Michelangelo's paintings of Christ and the saints,
Stone piazzas, churches, friars and vines,
Trevi fountain, gelato, olives, and wine.

Inspiration

You, the dream, the inspiration,
You, the hope, the aspiration,
You, the happiness I've found,
You, the blessing, halo, crown,
You, the essence I desire,
You, the love to make me soar,
You, the honor I now reap,
You, the joy each morn' from sleep.

Subway Fame

Subway zephyr rolling, rocking,
Screeching under city streets,
Winding through commuter caverns,
People reading, seldom speak,
Sparks illuminate graffiti,
Brilliant in the flickering light,
Fame of artists brief and fleeting,
As the cars go swiftly by.
